I graduated from the University of Scranton with a BS in Elementary Education. I have experience substitute teaching in all grades and subjects from Kindergarten through 12th grades. I especially love children's literature and incorporating picture books into lesson plans.
I have a master's degree in Library and Information Science from Drexel University. I've worked in all types of libraries including public, rural and medical libraries.
I am currently the Electronic Resources Librarian here at Kemp Library. I am in charge of the library's electronic resources and databases, the library website and our discovery tool/catalog, Primo.
Some of my research interests include effective negotiating with electronic resources vendors, Open Educational Resources (OER), the role of academic libraries in student success, and self care for academics.
