Can't remember the rules? Don't worry, Purdue OWL has you covered, no matter the citation style. Check them out. Their full name is the Online Writing Lab (OWL) at Purdue University and they host writing resources and instructional material.

Most library databases can generate a citation for you!  It's a great way to keep track of your resources for your bibliography. 

Caution! Citations generated from databases will have mistakes in them.  Always double check the complete citation with either the Purdue Owl website or the APA Style Guide (see box on the left side). 

 

In EBSCO databases (i.e. Academic Search CompletePsycINFOSocINDEX, etc.), you can...

Get a citation from an individual EBSCO record:

1)  Click on an article record.

2)  Click on the Cite link (on the right).

3)  From the Citation Format box, select the citation style and copy & paste to your bibliography.  It looks like this:
