The following database will be most helpful for the projects in this particular class so start here. I've listed some supplemental databases in another box in case you need to dig further.

Education Source
This database provides indexing and abstracts for over 2,850 academic periodicals and includes full text for over 1,800 journals, 550 books and monographs, education-related conference papers, citations for over 4 million articles, and over 100,000 controlled and cross-referenced names of educational tests. Coverage spans all levels of education from early childhood to higher education and also includes educational specialties such as multilingual education, health education and testing.

Academic Search Complete
Our largest multi-disciplinary database, ASC contains information on a wide array of topics from archaeology to zoology. All articles contain citations and abstracts and many are available in full text. Included journals often represent some of the core scholarly publications in that particular field and many are peer reviewed. The database also includes some full text monographs, reports and conference proceedings. Coverage on some titles goes back to 1865. Some full text.

ProQuest Dissertations & Theses: A & I provides abstracting and indexing for a comprehensive collection of dissertations and theses covering graduate research from 1861 to the present. It is the database of record for doctoral dissertations and master's theses and represents the work of authors from over 1,700 graduate schools and universities in North America and from around the globe.

Medline with Full Text
MEDLINE provides authoritative medical information on medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, and much more. Created by the National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE uses MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) indexing with tree numbers, tree hierarchy and explosion capabilities to search abstracts from over 4,600 current biomedical journals. Included are citations from Index Medicus, International Nursing Index, Index to Dental Literature, PREMEDLINE, AIDSLINE, BIOETHICSLINE, and HealthSTAR.
PubMed
A service of the National Library of Medicine, provides access to over 11 million MEDLINE citations back to the mid-1960's and additional life science journals. PubMed includes links to many sites providing full text articles and other related resources.
