Before you submit your published article to the ESU Institutional Repository (ESU IR), check to see if you're allowed to submit a copy of your article. Publishers have different types of allowances/restrictions for article placement in Institutional Repositories.
First, consult your publisher agreement. It will specify if you can share a version of your article with the IR. If you don't see it in the agreement, then check the publisher's website or contact the publisher.
Most major publishers will allow you to place a version of your article into an institutional repository, but they might request that you not use the publisher's version, and instead post a pre-print or a post-print copy.
STEP 1: Fill out the applicable fields of the ESU Institutional Repository (ESU IR) Submissions web form.
STEP 2: Upload the version of your article as a PDF.
STEP 3: Sign and attach the Rights & Permission Form for each author.
