ESU Institutional Repository (ESU IR)

This guide highlights East Stroudsburg University's Institutional Repository (ESU IR), how to use it, and how to submit your scholarly or creative works to the ESU IR.

Electronic Submission of ESU Theses and Dissertations

ESU Theses and Dissertations must be submitted to and approved by the Graduate College.

Do not submit it directly to the ESU Institutional Repository.

Please email Theses@esu.edu if you have any questions about the thesis or dissertation approval process.

After your draft thesis or dissertation is approved by the Director of Assessment, Accreditation and Academic Planning, the Graduate College will provide you with the Rights and Permission Form for Electronic Thesis and Dissertation Submission.

The Graduate College will provide Kemp Library with (1) the official PDF copy of your thesis or dissertation and (2) your completed Rights and Permission Form

Then Kemp Library will create a record for your thesis or dissertation in the ESU Institutional Repository (ESU IR)

  • If you elect for the Immediate Full Text Open Access option on the Rights and Permission Form, then a full text PDF copy of your thesis or dissertation will be available in the ESU IR.
