Help After Hours

Library of Congress Ask a Librarian allows you to ask a subject specialist, general question, review FAQs, and more. They also have a chat service during the week, video tutorials and research guides by subject. Check them out. 

PA State Library's Ask a Question portal is a great resource - you can call, chat or fill out their contact form. 

POWER Library is a PA library collaborative site with chat, email and phone question/answer services available. "Most of the site is open for browsing, but, to use the online e-resources, you must have a library card issued by a library in Pennsylvania or you can obtain an eCard that will allow you to access the POWER Library e-resources." - About page. 

GovInfo "provides free public access to official publications from all three branches of the Federal Government."

Government Information Online answers many common FAQs and allows you to submit a question via a form. 

PA State Library's Ask a Question portal is a great resource - you can call, chat or fill out their contact form. They have a specific phone number for government information and will be able to assist with PA government documents.

Hughes Library in Stroudsburg is available to local residents as an alternative to Kemp Library. They currently have restricted hours and services due to COVID-19 so we recommend calling ahead. 

The Monroe County Historical Association, also in Stroudsburg is a great resource for historical local information. Their services may be resiricted due to COVID-19, so we recommend calling ahead.
